Welcome to the PrimeTimers Ministry at Lomax!
We are a vibrant community of seniors dedicated to fellowship, learning, and service. Join us every Wednesday at 10 AM for our engaging Bible class, where we explore faith, share wisdom, and grow together in Christ. Beyond our weekly classes, we host monthly fellowship events that offer fun, friendship, and spiritual enrichment.
Our ministry is also committed to making a difference in the wider community. We actively participate in disaster relief efforts and various service projects, extending our hands and hearts to those in need.
Lomax Youth Group
Welcome to the Lomax Youth Group, where faith, fun, and fellowship come together! Our vibrant community is dedicated to nurturing spiritual growth and building lifelong friendships among our young members. We offer a variety of activities tailored for different age groups, ensuring that everyone from newborns to high school seniors can find a place to belong and thrive.
Lomax Kids (Newborn-5th Grade):Our Lomax Kids program is designed to introduce the youngest members of our church to the joys of faith and learning about the Bible. Bi-weekly Bible class, events including VBS all are available for our Kids
Lomax Youth (6th-12th Grade):For our middle and high school students, the Lomax Youth group offers a dynamic mix of monthly gatherings, including movie nights, service projects, and devotionals These events provide a safe space for teens to explore their faith, develop leadership skills, and form lasting bonds with their peers.
Yearly Highlights:
- Challenge Youth Conference (CYC): A powerful weekend retreat that brings together youth from across the region for worship, inspiring speakers, and exciting activities.
- Vacation Bible School: Yearly event with lessons, crafts, singing and food.
- Local Events: Throughout the year, we participate in various local events and service projects, allowing our youth to make a positive impact in our community.

Missions
At Lomax Church of Christ, we are dedicated to living out our faith through active participation and support of both local and foreign missions. Our commitment to spreading the love and teachings of Christ extends beyond our church walls, reaching into our community and across the globe.
Local Missions:We engage in a variety of local outreach programs. By partnering with organizations in our area, we strive to meet the immediate needs of our neighbors and share the hope of the Gospel through acts of compassion and service.
Foreign Missions:Our support for foreign missions includes financial contributions, sending mission teams, and ongoing prayer for missionaries working in diverse regions. We are proud to partner with international mission efforts to provide education, healthcare, and spiritual guidance to communities in need.
Through these efforts, Lomax Church of Christ seeks to fulfill the Great Commission, bringing the message of Christ’s love to all corners of the world. Join us in our mission endeavors as we make a difference, one life at a time.
Lomax Day School
Director-Jan Hill
Bible centered preschool for 3/4/5 year olds. Classes are two days a week, M/W or T/TR. We strive to teach our children about God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit and their love for each other. We also make sure our students are ready for Kindergarten.
Ladies Ministry
The ladies of Lomax are with involved in many different activities at Lomax.
- Food for Friends: Weekly meal distribution to sick and shut-ins
-Food for Families: Monthly groceries helping out families
-Weekly Letters: Weekly letters to the sick and others
Other yearly events include a yearly Ladies Day
