Ministers

Minister: Donnie DeBord

Donnie serves as our preaching minister. Donnie is blessed with his wife, Jessie, and three kids (Sophie, Timmy, and Evie). He is a graduate of FHU (BA, MA, and MDiv) and is currently pursuing a PhD in systematic theology.

Minister: Malcolm George

Malcolm George serves as our associate minister. He has been preaching the Gospel for seventy years. He works with the church by visiting, preaching, and teaching a weekly Bible class. He is a graduate of David Lipscomb University, Freed-Hardeman University, and Harding University. He is married to Verlin George. He has 2 children, 6 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren.

Minister: Jeff Boo Spears

Jeff "Boo" Spears serves as our family minister. Boo provides weekly updates in Lomax Messenger and on the Primetimers Facebook page with listings of al birthdays, anniversaries, and actives of our senior group. He plans trips, luncheons, devotionals, and many other activities. There are offered to encourage our seniors to stay active and to feel special. Boo also serves as a deacon taking care of the education department for ages 3rd grade through adults.

Boo is a graduate of Lewis County High School. He then continues his education by attending FHU where he received his B.S. in Business Administration. He is married to Rose George Spears. They have 2 children and 2 grandchildren.

Youth Minister: Robert Pierce


Robert serves as our youth minister. Robert and his wife, Maegan, have three fur children, Sophie, Athena, and Percy. Robert is an Information Technology Specialist by day and youth minister by night. His wife is a special education teacher at LCIS. They both graduated from FHU (class of "17).

Prior to coming to Lomax, Robert spent his life traveling the world as a missionary, worked as a youth minister intern in St. Louis, and was a pulpit minister in Scotts Hill, TN. In the rare moments when they are not busy working or tending to our youth group, they enjoy doing short term mission trips, traveling, and spending time with our furpups.
